The second generation of Adria caravans (1978-1984)

The second generation of Adria caravans had a geometrically balanced shape for the car body with the same front and back wall, flat roof and a narrow blue decorative line below the windows. The window glass had a blue cast. The gas bottle compartment was made of aluminium but had a nicer shape.
The series were called:

Our company introduced a wide choice of caravans to the market. Our buyers could choose between five different series with 14 models and 22 types. This wide choice of products, along with the continuing growth of the market, helped Adria achieve its peak in 1980 with 26,757 caravans and gain 11% of the West European market.
The SKANDINAVIA - KORNATI series
In 1982 a new series of SCANDINAVIA caravans was developed. This series didn’t belong to any generation, it was to be sold in Northern Europe - Sweden and Norway at first and later also in Germany where it was known as the KORNATI series.
This series brought many functional new features to the North European market - the integrated gas bottle compartment, the small door for repairing the refrigerator, an additional space for installing the accumula¬tor, the improved heat insulation, the main door with wooden doorjambs that are suitable for low temperatures as well, and a very rich interior design.
The series was first introduced at a fair in Jankoping and was highly praised by sales representatives, journalists and buyers. The series included the 350, 410, 460, 500 and 530 Models.
