Adria partner KTM are always ‘Ready to Race’

As Dakar Rally approaches, KTM continue to compete in all forms of motorcycle racing. 

Whilst much of the sporting world prepares for the holiday season, Adria world class partner, KTM Motorcycles, uses December to finalise their preparations for the Dakar rally which starts in Saudi Arabia in January.  

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Toby Price, Matthias Walkner and Sam Sunderland are beginning the final stages of their pre-Dakar Rally testing, as they ramp up preparations ahead of the iconic event’s start on January 2nd. Joined by KTM Factory Racing’s Daniel Sanders, who enters the upcoming Dakar as part of KTM’s junior rally program, the four KTM 450 RALLY mounted riders are hard at work in Dubai as they count down the days to the gruelling 12-stage race.

Adria will be once again supporting their efforts by providing a fleet of motorhomes to act as support vehicles and accommodation for the KTM Factory Team riders and team during the gruelling race. This extraordinary adventure is the ultimate test of Adria vehicle quality, reliability and comfort on the move, as the riders cross thousands of kilometres of all kinds of challenging terrain and weather conditions. 

This is the Adria fleet at Dakar 2021: Coral XL Plus 670 SL; Coral Supreme 670 DL and Sonic Plus 700 SL. All regular production vehicles with no special preparation except some additional spare tyres. 

Adria also partners with KTM in the motocross MX world championships, with all the top KTM riders using Adria Twin campervans as their mobile accommodation during training and competitions. Highlights this year, included KTM’s Tom Vialle crowned 2020 FIM MX2 Motocross World Champion, in Italy in November. 

In other forms of racing, KTM also celebrated its second MotoGP victory in the space of two weeks with Miguel Oliveira’s brilliantly judged first-ever success at the Red Bull Ring in August and Celestino Vietti also posted KTM’s second Moto3 victory in a row. for full details on their racing program. to follow the rally.
