Adria Ambassador Primoz Roglič showed tremendous strength and tenacity to turn around a timing deficit and triumph at the weekend, at Itzulia Basque Country.
Primoz Roglič’s overall victory in one of the toughest stage races of the calendar, together with an opening stage win in the recent Bilbao time trial, has allowed the Slovenian to continue his momentum from last year’s triumph in Spain.
In the overall standing he came in ahead of Vingegaard (Denmark) and fellow Slovene Pogacar.
'Today was just beautiful and everything went right' Primoz said at the end of the race.
For Roglič, riding for the team Jumbo-Visma, this was another impressive showing of his world class talent, which made him the top ranked rider in 2020 after a tumultuous season, coming second in the Tour de France and winning for the second year running at La Vuelta in Spain.
Primoz Roglič regularly uses his Sonic Supreme in his training and with his young family. His exploits last season will be featured in the next edition of Adria’s brand magazine, Inspirations, coming out this summer.
