Back in 2005, Action was a new definition of a compact caravan at the time, with an unusual shaped profile and ‘’huge smallness’’ helping Action to become iconic in the caravanning world. Designed for Adria’s 40th birthday celebrations and intended as a series of just 50 units, it established a cult-like status and following, with sales hitting the 10,000 level in Spring 2025.
Action has always been brilliant at what it does, compact on the outside and easy to tow, yet somehow so spacious on the inside. Ideal for 2-3 people who want full caravan functionality with cool styling and a lovable personality.




Adria has managed the design process and reimagined this iconic caravan with great care and an adventurous spirit. Katja Jenic, Adria Caravan Product Manager who led the project puts it this way:
‘’We wanted to re-imagine this iconic caravan and carried out extensive research with existing owners, focusing on the user-experience and where to improve it.
We retained the iconic exterior shape of course, but boldly modernized it, keeping it compact, whilst making it extradurable and with personality true to the much-loved Action.
The result are new models, which are familiar but all-new, and where the interior takes the original design concept – of ‘huge smallness’ to a new level.
The result: spacious, comfortable and practical caravans, in two forms: Action and Action Sports models. With the Sports model we wanted to embrace a sportier feeling, its distinctively different from the more classic Action inside and out, with some cool extra features too.’’

Twenty years after designing original Action, Nina led the design of the new models.
‘’It is an honour and an experience to design the new Action, two decades after the original. Adria Mobil and the team is of course much bigger now and the demands are much higher, but we believe we found the right way to tell the next chapter in the Action story, a design true to the DNA. Action is a playful caravan, designed for the young at heart – and this has not changed, if anything we have amplified this’’.
‘’We modernised the shape, but its recognizably Action. Inside is where the biggest changes are, with excellent use of space, more natural light thanks to the double panoramic window, new materials and rounded furniture profiles so space flows seamlessly. It feels very spacious despite the compact dimensions and a little more grown up, richer and cozy but unmistakably Action’’.
‘’Creating two distinct models meant we could be quite playful in design to differentiate them in meaningful, functional and performance ways as well as in the mood boards and materials’’.
